Brandon Zelma

Brandon Zelma is a U.S. Army Military Police veteran who served from 2005 to 2013. During his service, he spent two years with Joint Task Force Guantanamo supporting detainee operations at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, served at military installations across the United States, and participated in a humanitarian support mission in El Salvador.

After returning home, Brandon studied Natural Resources at Hocking College with a focus on field biology and wildlife management. Today, he is a rural real estate agent with Buckeye Land Sales. Brandon and his wife are raising their two sons in Morgan County, Ohio, where they both serve as 4-H advisors.

After attending Boot on the Trail events for a year, Brandon accepted the role of Treasurer. He enjoys connecting with fellow veterans and supporting the organization’s mission through trail stewardship, service, and the outdoors.
